Roster Mod for tonight?

I'm not a modder, but I wish I was, because it would be great to have a roster set to mess with tonight when the game comes out. Has anyone created one yet, that they might want to release tonight?

It wolud be a dream....i love historical rosters...i cross my fingers....
And i'd also like to know (i'm new to this kind of game) if someone will add players photos or what other mods you used to have for TPB.

I am also not a modder but I would think it is a little more complicated to mod rosters since you have to go through and set up each individual with your impression of their ratings in all categories and there need to be a significant number of players modded, so it might take a little more time

There's a roster mod thread stickied in this forum along with the graphics ones, so anyone who wants to work on something like this, the tools are there.

That's true, but Gary released the roster file some days ago and they're not so different in format from the previous one (for a modder who knows what to do with them, obviously :D ).

I checked out the roster stuff and it actually looks like it is a simple system, but you are working from scratch with it as they only included teams rather than full rosters ect. to play around with, at this point it might take someone who has something from the last version to play around with to get something out

I have compared the TPB2k5 players table and the new DDS one and there are only a few fields added in the new DDS players table so it should be so easy to copy/past from the TPB2k5 database and then fill in the new fields. It won't be like starting from zero.

I don't have time to do it now, but I hope somebody like Speedy will convert his great rosters from 2k5 to DDS.

What about default roster?
Those front page screens show Indiana roster from 2005-06, with only names being different.

I'm pretty sure that Gary mentioned that the default rosters would be like they were in TPB, where they are close to the real life teams, and there would be completely fictional rosters. Bryan, Tim, or Gary should correct me if I'm wrong though. But, we will all find out in less than an hour!
