NBA players photos

To finish my NBA universe, i wrote a php script to auto download all the players pics from nba.com for the players names in the default.dat database of DDSPB.

Here is the result, 604 players pics ready to be used in the game that cover 99% of the players in the default database (4 or 5 players failed to be downloaded by the script). I also added the pic of Toronto's Garbajosa, even when I couldn't find him in the default game database, but I'll create him anyway.

To use it just unzip the pics in the folder:

C:\Program Files\Wolverine Studios\DDSPB\graphics\players

(if you installed the game in another folder, then unzip it there).

Are the coaches in the database the real ones? if so it should be easy to download them too.

From the 261 non players in the default database, 167 could be downloaded, the magic of scripting, no way i would download all them manually :)

I noticed a few of the players photos are not appearing in game e.g JJ Redick. Is there a speciafic naming convention?

So has anyone figured out how to get player photos like jj Redick who have pictures in this file mod but for some reason aren't appearing in game? Is it because of the jj at the front of the name:confused: ?

You need to rename picture to JJ_Redick.Caps doesnt matter.
