NBA Coaches photos

To finish my NBA universe, i wrote a php script to auto download all the coaches pics from nba.com for the nonplayers names in the default.dat database of DDSPB.

Here is the result, 167 coaches pics ready to be used in the game that cover 65% of the coaches in the default database (100 coaches failed to be downloaded by the script because were not found in nba.com).

To use it just unzip the pics in the folder:

C:\Program Files\Wolverine Studios\DDSPB\graphics\nonplayers

Your players photos worked fine for me with NO additional work needed on my part.

However, your nonplayer photos are not working for me; I have the photos downloaded to the nonplayer/fac folder, but they're not automatically popping in. Do I need to move them up to just the nonplayer directory?

If I have to assign photos to names, how do I do that?.

Don't put them into the fac folder, that is for the fictional ones. Put them in the C:\Program Files\Wolverine Studios\DDSPB\graphics\nonplayers as i said before. They are showing up for me without problems.

Okay, I'll give that a try when I get home tonight. Funny thing is, I put the player photos in the players/fac/ directory and those are showing up just fine.

Well, here's a condundrum about it... As installed, DDSPB is not showing faces for ANY coach... just the default shadow-portrait.

Of course, that was ALSO the case with the players before installing your mod...

One final note... if a person wants to change the portrait of an existing player or coach... say from a default outline to one of the fictional ones... how is that done?

Just a quick note to say that moving your photos to the /nonplayer/ directory instead of the /nonplayer/fac/ subdirectory fixed the problem I was having.

That said... If I find a coach or a player who has a default portrait and I want to at least give him an artwork portrait from Gary's library... how do I do this for a pre-existing coach?

I have a minor problem.
Can't assign portrait pic to Jeff Van Gundy.His jpg is in nonplayers folder, but dunno how to name it.Tried with Jeff_van_gundy.jpg, Jeffvangundy.jpg and alot of different variations, but cant make it work.

How about College Coaches and NBA Players in their College Uniform Photo's and also College Courts because it would help me out making my College Team NBA League?
