Question about editing league file

Checked out the manual and havent found anything.
Im trying to edit ratings for some of my players with export/import database option on commish screen.
I press Export League to database, go and do the editing, save changes, and then pressImport League from Database.I get the message that changes are imported. (Or something like that, cant remeber exactly).
All in all, no error reports or anything like that.
But when i go to the game, nothing changes, all edited players have exactly the same ratings as before?

I think what you are seeing is that a player's ratings are changing, but the teams/your evaluation of them isn't when the import happens. For example I changed Ray Allen's scoring rating and imported: instead of averaging 20 shots a game he was down to 5. So the ratings are importing correctly. I would recommend editing the ratings and importing just before training camp, so that players are scouted including your changes.

Yeah, it looks like it works that way.Just checked it, ratings in MDB are changed, but in game it shows the old ones.
I'm trying to edit Steve Nash, he is too much of a scorer at the expense of his playmaking abilities.
