Since I'm still scratching my head as to how to import TPB 2005 Roster files into DDS compatible format, I've decided to cobble together a test 2007 Draft Class roster file. Off the top of my head, the file has: Greg Oden, Josh McRoberts, Kevin Durant, Joakim Noah, Tyler Hansbrough and etc.
I've included what I think are the probable top 18 picks of the 2007 draft. The rest of the rookies were randomly generated by TCB. Please note that the starting ratings are probably low for these draft picks, aside from Kevin Durant and Bobby Brown (who I think are the only ones capable of contributing immediately in the NBA). Lastly, the ratings that I have for these guys are based on my assumption of what they are capable of when they hit the NBA.
Please provide feedback in terms of comments and suggestions as regards the rookie draft file. I'm still kind of new with assigning ratings vis-a-vis NBA players and any feedback will help me fine tune future roster mods that I'll be working on.
In the meantime, I'll continue working on releasing the rest of the probable members of the 2007 draft class.
Thanks in advance.

Maybe this sites can help you to complete the 2007 draft class: nbadraft.net and draftexpress.com. Oh! I'm sure is just a typo but is Durant, not Durrant. Good luck!

And BTW..it may seme like Tyler Hansbrough is a lottery pick in your draft file, but in real life he won't be..becuase he has some things to work on..and that is why he won't be in the 07 draft..actually not leaving until he's a senior. He has said he's staying all four years..

I could be wrong on this but I think the FGD, FGI, FGJ, FT, and FG3 are suppose to be percentages. So for instance in your original file (granted I haven't looked at the new one you've made) you have Arron Afflalo shooting 65% on his jumpers. Which would be might impressive considering he's only shooting 48% from the entire field (inside, jumpers, threes). You also have Joakim Noah shooting 75% from inside, and considering most big me shoot just from the inside, that would put his total FG% near 75% which is crazy. Guys like Dwight Howard and Eddy Curry are primarily inside/post scorers and they have some of the best FG% in the NBA (58% or so).
Now I could be dead wrong, because I'm thinking that the draft file is similar to the roster file in that those attributes are suppose to be done in percentages (as whole numbers), like the roster mod, which very well could not be the case, and if so sorry for this post. Maybe Gary or Brian could help us out on this.

You are right that the ratings of FGD, and FGI, FGJ, FG3 and FT are percentages. I forgot that they were percentages and not actual ratings. Thanks for the reminder. I'll post a revised version soon.

Thanks to JProBU for pointing out that some of the player ratings are actually percentages and not true ratings. As per his advice, I've changed the ratings for the following stats: FGD, FGI, FGJ, FG3, and FT (along with their potential values).
Version 1.2 has been uploaded.
Thanks.

Try using the draft file while generating foreign players. It might help add more players to the draft file.
I think the error may have something to do with the fact that I have only included 60 players inside the draft file. The game is probably expecting a bit more rookies.

what do you guys think of the rookie stats after you use this draft file? I know it's a deep draft, but the stats are very impressive....almost as impressive as the lebron / mello / wade class. I'm seeing like 13 rookies scoring double figures, 4 over 15 pts/game, and like 10 in double digit reb's (I know the game stats still inflate rebounds due to the team reb problem). Odem is averagng 20 and 12. I know these guys are good, but should they be this good this quick? it's either that the settings are a little inflated, or this is simply a great draft class....I think it's a bit of both. what have you guys observed?
