Most of the errors that have been reported to me as of late have been the result of faulty mod files or mod files being used incorrectly. In an attempt to stop these from happening please read below.
Mod creators - it is very important that you use the proper naming convention on your files. This is from the readme file that comes with the basic file I posted to download for modding rosters.
Naming your database file - You can name your file anything you want as long as you do two things. First make sure you keep the .mdb extension and second you MUST begin your file name with a "p_" or a "s_" - for example if you are naming the database "MyLeagueFile" you will need to name it either "p_MyLeagueFile" or "s_MyLeagueFile". Use the "p_" prefix if you wish the game to start in the first day of the offseason and the "s_" prefix if you wish the game to start just prior to the development league draft and start of the regular season.
Mod users - it is very important that you don't attempt to use the file in a way it was not designed. For example you cannot take a "s" file and try to use it as a "p" file. More than likely the mod creator did that "s" file without any players in the draft pool (since that file will start the game after the draft and other offseason activities) so if you rename it and try to use it as a "p" file you will get a RTE 3021 at the Mock Draft since there are no rookies in the file.
