Updating mod file

just letting you guys know im working on the default file (real names for teams, stadiums, and owners...accurate coaches/gms/ages...ticket prices adjusted to more realistic numbers...will change some ratings for players) no expected date yet for it to be finished (ill be out of town sat & sun) but i will let you guys know, in the mod forum, when im done if you guys are interested (will probably only adjust the 30 team league so as to save some time)

think im done with everything but rating players, should be done sometime monday, anyone know where i could host the file?

default file almost done, just have to fix ratings for free agents and rooks, not doing a mdb file though, so it will always start before the draft, sorry but the mdb roster file looked too time consuming...still wondering where i can host it for download if others want to use it

Are you also changing some player positions? Several players are listed at the wrong position, like LeBron James at SG instead of SF, Dirk Nowitzki at SF instead of PF, and so on. I really appreciate the help with this update. I hope I don't sound like I'm asking for too much.

no prob, i may have missed some of the changes, but i did the best i could in changing positions i saw that were incorrect, hardest team by far was the suns since some of their players seem to play nearly all positions (only things im not doing that i want to are getting owner pics and fully changing the 32 team league, although i did input correct team and stadium names for the 32 team setting)


hardest thing to do is edit the rookies, as they are evaluated so differently by the different teams that the random 1/1.5 player seems to always sneek into the 1st round, but im continuing to tweak

yeh, like i said though, its so hard to get something that resembles the real 07 draft, no matter how far i drop strawberrys and newleys numbers, i cant get them out of the first round, without someone like adam haluska or marko thomas taking their places, but for the most part its starting to look pretty solid....feel free to tell me any things i missed too (if i can find somewhere to host it, as ive never hosted a file for others to download)

heres the first version guys, like i said, if you see any things that i missed (in the 30 team league setting) or with ratings or people still at an incorrect position, just let me know on this thread and ill change it (the draft is still not perfect, but its about as good as i can get it without completely dumping on guys like strawberry and newley)

please dont leave messages like josh mcroberts should have been a top 15 pick cause hes the best player ever and i love duke, only leave legit ratings changes suggestions please

no, i havent, as that is what the mdb files are for and i dont particularly want to do that, so i apologize but no i dont have a file like that...though im quite sure one like that will surface shortly on these forums

then you either have less than 30 teams in your league, or arent using the default file, check to make sure you have at least 30 teams in the league and are using my default file
